(How Can I Get To Heaven?)

There are a lot of things in this old world that one cannot be sure of. Such as will my car crank up when go to turn the key? Will the economy stay up or will it fall out? One man once said there is only two things certain in life "Death & Taxes". Well that man was almost right! Death is definitely certain. So, one question, where would you go? Heaven is a real place, and the Bible teaches us how we can have our sins forgiven and live in peace with God in Heaven because of Jesus Christ.

1. Realize that God loves you.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. "

2. Realize and acknowledge that you have sinned.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death;"

Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgement ."

Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no, not one:"

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:12 " Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

All men will die with their physical bodies, but all men do not die spiritually. You can be born again through Jesus Christ and be saved from the penalty of sin, which is a place of "fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Hell) (Revelation 21:8)

3. Realize that Jesus Christ died for you and He is the only way.

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Corinthians 15:3 "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"

Romans 5:6 "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."

1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

John 14:6 " Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

 * Jesus paid our total sin debt on the cross. The price was high, it was a perfect spotless sacrifice. No man could get to God or pay the price. Ephesians 2:8-9   "For  by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." So God gave us a gift, a free gift, His son Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23 "...The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.")

4. Realize that Jesus Christ can save you.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

John 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

*The Bible says that anyone can come to Him, that all can come to repentance, the word "WHOSOEVER" means YOU! If you will trust simply by faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for your soul's salvation, you can then be 100% sure you are going to heaven.

Understand this, there is "NO" other way to get to heaven. Not Baptism, not church membership, not conformation, not communion, and not simply being a Jew or knowing Jewish rituals. Only by Jesus Christ alone.

If  you are not 100% certain that you know Christ as your personal savior, will you call upon Him by Faith today?

5. Confess, ask, and recieve:

Why not pray this prayer today: "Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and that my sin deserves judgement. I believe that Jesus came down and died for me personally. Please forgive me for my sins and by faith I put my trust in the perfect sacrifice alone. Please come into my heart and save me. Amen."
